Our Trustees
In 1997, the seven original Trustees of the London Shogyoji Trust, Venerable Chimyo Takehara, Reverend Professor Taira Sato, Professor John White, Mr. Reitaro Oga, Dr. Masayoshi Sakimura, Dr. Stephen Montgomery and Mr. Frederick Adkins, were named in an Application for Charitable Status, and were joined in 1998 by Mrs. Ann Montgomery. Then, on 16th July 1999, the Charity Commission for England and Wales entered the Trust in its Register as Charity No. 1076610.
The Trust holds regular meetings twice a year, normally in Spring and Autumn and is responsible, on behalf of Shogyoji, for all aspects of the running of Three Wheels.

Mr. Izumi Ida
Based at Shogyoji Temple in Fukuoka Japan. One of the former responsible trustees of Shogyoji and former president of the Mizota Corporation in Japan.

English language coach of Rev. Sato and other Japanese members.

Assists Three Wheels with organising many of its regular activities especially arranging Garden Open Days and supporting Mrs Ishii.

A devout follower of Shin Buddhism. Assists Three Wheels with organising many of its regular activities especially London Eza and Shokai Retreat.
Mrs Sanae Ishii
A devout follower of Shin Buddhism. Responsible for managing practical aspects of daily living, special events and coordination of activities for younger members of the Sangha. Based at Three Wheels in London U.K.
