As part of the National Garden Scheme (NGS), Three Wheels opens its Zen Garden to the public every year.

The garden was designed by the late Professor John White, an English academic who was Pro Provost of UCL (University College London) at the time of its creation.

The garden is very popular with both Japanese and Western visitors. It is often said that a visit to the garden feels just like being in Kyoto, Japan.

On the open days, all proceeds from the £4 entrance fee go directly to the NGS and are donated to its supported charities.

Japanese powdered green tea (Matcha) is also available on these days for an additional fee of £4.
