Invitation to the 182nd London Eza on Sunday, 28 June

Dear Dharma friends,

We sincerely thank you for your continued support of Three Wheels and for treasuring this shared connection.

For the London Eza this coming June, we are honoured to welcome Professor Nick Tyler as our guest speaker.

Professor Tyler is Chadwick Professor of Civil Engineering at University College London (UCL) and the founder of PEARL (Person Environment Activity Research Laboratory). His work explores the fundamental relationship between people, environment, and activity, going beyond conventional engineering to ask a deeper question.

Through his research into light, sound, space, mind and bodily perception, he investigates human experience itself. His perspective offers us an opportunity to reconsider what we usually take for granted in our daily lives.

We feel that Professor Tyler’s work resonates deeply with Buddhist reflections on interdependence and relationship, and invites us to look again at how we see and experience the world.

In the midst of our busy lives, we often assume that the world we perceive is simply as it is. This talk offers a rare opportunity to quietly illuminate that assumption and to encounter new insight.

We would also like to share that this London Eza will be the final gathering in London for both Rev. Goshin Takehara and Rev. Yuichi Kuniyoshi, who will be returning to Japan in July. We hope this occasion will be a meaningful opportunity to share time together and express our gratitude for their presence and friendship in Dharma.

We warmly invite all Dharma friends to join us on this special occasion. We very much hope you will come and share in this meaningful gathering.

With kind regards,

Kenshin Ishii
