This new site has been created to reflect the life of our temple and to serve as a place of encounter, learning and sharing for friends near and far.
Rooted in the teaching of Shinran Shonin, we aspire to live with awareness of Amida Buddha’s boundless compassion, and to express this through the spirit of harmony in diversity and the oneness of self-benefiting and other-benefiting.
Here you will find information about our services, Dharma gatherings, cultural activities and the Zen garden. We hope these pages may be a gentle doorway for those encountering Shin Buddhism for the first time, and a source of connection for our long-standing friends both in Japan and here in the UK.
May this new website become a bridge for all who wish to share the path of gratitude together.
